A "Strong" Winding Terminator is a small circuit board which mounts to an 8 mm bearing tube. Many motors such as Blue Wonders, DAT-750 and a Tower Pro 24xx use 8 mm bearing tubes. The winding terminator supports the ends of the magnet wire, and provides a connection point for the larger flexible motor leads from the ESC to connect. It is shown above being installed on the bearing tube. After sliding it up near the stator it can be glued in place with CA or epoxy. The magnet wire is looped around and thru the hole one or two times then cut off short and soldered. The ESC or motor connector leads can then be soldered directly to the board. Many brushless motors fail when a winding wire is broken off. These winding terminators eliminate that. All flexing is accommodated by the flexible motor leads. No more broken winding wires.
