THE SL PACKAGE
The ELE C20 is a nice inexpensive motor for indoor and park flyers,
considered by many "the
J250 of the brushless world".
It
has been used to upgrade the popular Storm Launcher Hydro's to brushless motors.
The "SL... Packages" will create a "STRONG Launcher" with much higher
performance. You are encouraged to read about this at RCGroups.
Note: the SL's electronics must be replaced with Hobby grade components when
using brushless motors. The SL Motor and Mount Package
contains two motors, two (PropS3) prop savers, and two axial mounts. (You will also
receive two firewall mounts with the motors, but they are not used in with the
SL.) The SL Motor,
Mount, and ESC Package adds
two Dualsky ESC's with your choice of 6A, 10A, or 12A ratings.
My bench data says:
2500 Kv motor, GWS 4x4 prop, 10.5 V, 5.2 A (good setup)
2500 Kv motor, GWS 4x4 prop, 8 V, 3.6 A (weak)
2900 Kv motor, GWS 4x4 prop, 7.5 V, 6 A (good setup)
2900 Kv motor, GWS 4x2.5 prop, 10.5 V, 6.3 A (great setup)
2900 Kv motor, SL stock prop, 10.5 V, 5.5 A (great setup)
8 g Motor
This motor is much smaller than others I sell. It is a
very high quality motor using curved magnets, ball bearings, and silver alloy
wire. It has great performance, yet is is very reasonably priced.
Wonderful for small models in the 4-8 Oz range. It includes the removable
firewall mount and propsavers shown below.
