Strong Magnets for "Strong" motors. These magnets are simply the best magnets available. And, they are the perfect fit for "Strong" motors. The N50 magnets are the highest strength magnets being sold. When comparing magnets look at the number after the N ##. That is a measure of the strength of the magnet. Any letters following the strength indicate temperature limits where some permanent loss of magnetic strength will occur. If no letters are present as in N50, the limit is 80° C. If it is N45H the limit is 120 ° C, and if it says N45SH the limit is 150° C! For most flyers N50 is the best choice. They are good up to 80° C, and that is 176° F which is way hotter than a good motor should run. That would hurt if you touched it. (Most people can't hold a finger on anything much over 150° F.) If your magnets are going near that temperature either you have some kind of failure or you are pushing your motor way too hard, and will soon let the smoke out if you haven't already. 20 mm stator motors-- curved magnets for 20 mm stator motors. Curved Magnets- The ultimateThe only reason early motors used flat magnets was because curved magnets were not available. Now they are available for GoBrushless standard cans for 20 mm stator motors. These N50 curved magnets were custom made to fit. They are exclusive to Strong RC Motors. They provide near optimum 83% magnet coverage, and eliminate the air gap between the center of the magnet and the can that occurs with flat magnets. Each set of 12 curved magnets has 6 with N poles on the inside and 6 with the S pole on the inside. For the best possible magnet placement use a STRONG Magnet Spacer. Key Benefits
